Blackthorne is a Minneapolis-based four-piece heavy band formed in 2012 by Travis Bos (vocals), Steve Brooks (guitar), Bob Eisenbise (bass), and Matt Seitzinger (drums), with second guitarist Mickey Kahleck joining in 2016. Their sound blends power violence, thrash, math-doom, and punk influences, characterized by dense riffing and politically charged lyrics delivered at high speed. The band has released a self-titled LP and multiple EPs on cassette and vinyl through labels including Damien Records, Nefarious Industries, JEMS, and 5nakefork Records.
