Joe Rainey

Joe Rainey is a Minneapolis powwow singer who collaborated with producer Andrew Broder on the album Niineta, an experimental record blending Rainey's vocals and field recordings from tribal competitions and performances with Broder's electronic production. The project received recognition as one of the year's best records, and Rainey has continued to release new music including the single "Once The Reaper."
