The Knife

The Knife were an electronic music duo from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 1999 by siblings Karin and Olof Dreijer, who also ran their own label, Rabid Records. Their 2003 album Deep Cuts built a large international following, and they toured for the first time in 2006 with Silent Shout, which Pitchfork named the best album of that year. The duo broke up in November 2014, after releasing Shaking the Habitual in 2013 and finishing its tour.
