Explosions In the Sky "Trembling Hands"
I was thrown off by a little good news/bad news when I first caught wind of the new Explosions in the Sky track “Trembling Hands.” The good news was that, well, there was a new Explosions in the Sky track. Their record All of the Sudden I Miss Everyone is a stone cold classic and is a staple in my late night rotation. The bad news? The song clocked in at a very mainstream 3:31. What gives? Are Explosions in the Sky going soft? Luckily they aren’t as the track is the shorest track by a bunch on the record (the next shortest is twice as long) and it is a song that reminded me of the groups swelling, dynamic songwriting. Look for a review of the whole record in the very near future here on Reviler.
