Big Troubles “Misery”
The Big Troubles debut Olde English Spelling Bee LP Worry was one of my favorite albums of 2010, and I actually would rate it higher if I went back and reworked my list. With Worry still getting consistent spins, I was excited to hear that the band are back with their sophmore LP Romantic Comedy, this time on Slumberland Records. The first song from the LP to be released, “Misery,” has me a little worried that the band are making a shift in their sound away from the shoegaze pop of Worry, but I will wait to hear the whole album until I make a final judgement.
