The crowd sucked at this show. Totally tame, lack of enthusiasm, and no one was dancing at all except for random drunks that didn’t even know the music. I’d be surprised if Beirut even comes back to play in the cities again.
But agreed that the crowd wasn’t all that enthusiastic. Of course it was incredibly hot and humid and the band didn’t really seem all that engaged in the show themselves.

Maybe it was the humidity, but I thought the drummer was pretty awesome. The all ages crowd seemed more pumped for the opening act than Beirut. 🙁
