Filthy Huns “Watch of the Bear”
Nick Koenigs is best known to local yokels for his work with the dearly departed (or are they?) Daughters of the Sun, but he is back under his new moniker Filthy Huns. The new project has recently released a tape of damaged, willowy racket that glides along a bed of hum and finds Koenigs inserting some distant vocals to the mix, adding even more atmospheric haze to the tracks. Listen below to the song “Watch of the Bear” and grab the tape from always outstanding Not Not Fun Label. Your other option is to save on shipping and to grab the tape from the man himself tonight as Filthy Huns play a show with a stacked lineup, sharing the Turf Club stage with Mr. Hide, Heavy Deeds, Wave Pool (Bennett of Daughters of the Sun) and Robust Worlds. Both the tape and the show come with the highest possible recommendations.
