Video: Questlove and D’Angelo SuperJam (Prince “My Summertime Thang” Cover)
This is just too cool not to post. After 12 years of silence, Questlove finally got D’Angelo to return to the stage this last year and this video captures the lead up and performance of this historic jam session. Episode One of this seris combines behind the scenes footage with some high quality material from set that saw the return of D’Angelo at Bonnaroo this last year. It is funky, compelling and has me very excited for future episodes. I will stop writing so you are able to click “play” and dive into this awesome video.
