(Stream) Crimes: Thin Sunlight LP -RELEASE SHOW TONIGHT

Thin Sunlight, the new LP from local group Crimes, pulls off a difficult task. It is a reverb soaked musical amalgamation, pulling together sounds from surf, garage and pop influences under one well manicured roof. The result is easy to like collection of songs that avoid feeling cheesy or lightweight. Like Real Estate with a little bit more of a pulse, Crimes have proven up to the task of combining, and softening the edges of, a few disparate influences and making it come out sounding pristine and whole on the other end.
