The Amazing Chuquimamani-Condori to Headline This Years Totally Gross National Party at Icehouse on May 31st

The (mostly) yearly Totally Gross National Party, put on by the local legends Totally Gross National Product label, is always a great party. This year they bring together the usual suspects, but an exciting development this year is Chuquimamani-Condori headlining the outdoor portion of the party. If you aren’t familiar with their music (they also has made music under the name Elysia Crampton), two albums below that showcase their mind-blowing exploration of blown out pop music that is a colorful amalgamation of myriad globe-spanning genres.

The first album below is DJ E, the amazing 2023 album that, in a way that still blows me away, blended beautiful and harsh in a way that gives it almost unlimited potential for re-listens. Each time I spin the record it sounds new and fresh in a way that very few artists are able to do. Expanding on this maximalist sound,  Chuquimamani-Condori joined with their sibling Joshua Chuquimia Crampton for 2025 album of the year contender Los Thuthanaka, instrumentals that explode out of your speakers like a nuclear glow stick.

It is wildly exciting to have this groundbreaking artist joining an eclectic local cast of characters for what should be an outstanding day of music both inside and outside of Icehouse. Buy tickets HERE.

Full lineup (as of May 28th): Chuquimamani-Condori, Lauren Flax, Marijuana Deathsquads, Whole Earth, Nat Harvie, Braingiver, Christian Music, Oeurth, StoLyette, Væls DJ Set, Terminal Habitat Collapse and more.
