Dent May “That Feeling”
Gorilla vs Bear’s Forest Family Records is releasing “That Feeling,” the latest single from ukulele toting crooner Dent May. May adds in more layers to his sound (and loses the uke!), but the dry lyrical content and his unmistakable voice are still there. Like his excellent debut record, his upcoming sophomore record will be released on Animal Collectives Paw Tracks label, which makes zero sense but it pretty cool none the less. I do hope the record doesn’t completely abandon the Uke, as it seems to be the perfect instrument to accompany May’s whip smart songs.
