Japandroids “Heavenward Grand Prix”
Another new Japandroids song as part of their ongoing 7″ singles series (which we have covered before HERE and HERE), and it is good as usual. The grinding guitars and explosive drums are in place as usual, with a layer of noisy haze adding an ominous feel to the track. The B-Side to each release, always a cover, is “Shame” by PJ Harvey, which I can only imagine will sound a little different in the Canadians duo’s hands. Find out more info at the bands website.
