Introducing
Non Travellin’ Band
Listen to The Non Travellin' Band, a WI project featuring Dead Luke
I first heard the pysched out folk of Dead Luke on his solid Moon Glyph released LP Meanwhile, In the Midwest, but didn’t dig any deeper. Apparently Dead Luke is also in a group called the Non Travellin’ Band, which previously was called Dead Luke and the Non Travellin’ Band. The sounds are similar, with scorching acid folk layered over sardonic, ragged vocal lines. As far as I can tell, there are no physical releases from the band yet, but listening to the solid tunes they put up on Soundcloud (embedded below) make me hopeful that will change soon.
