Woodsman “All Tangled Up”
This is a new one for me. Woodsmen, the Denver based synth wanderers who have continually impressed these last few years with their Firetalk Records releases, are now releasing a “cassingle.” Maybe this was a common feature you old timers can wax poetically about, but it is a whole new world to me. Seems like poor usage of a perfectly good tape, but at least the band go all in on the music that does grace the tape. You can listen below to the churning “All Tangled Up,” which is backed on the CS by the awesomely titled “Sonic Tomb.” The tape is being put out jointly by firetalk records and Lefse Records on October 9th, but you can pre-order the tape now.
