Twin Cities Funk and Soul 7″ + Record Store Day Show

After releasing the excellent Twin Cities Funk and Soul compilation earlier this year (Our review HERE), many fans were left to wonder if there was any more vintage Twin Cities magic hiding in the SS vault. Well, the answer is yes. On Friday, a day where we for some reason have been convinced that insane amounts of consumption and making underpaid retail workers come to their jobs in the middle of the night is a national holiday, the Secret Stash crew is taking part in the Black Friday version of Record Store Day. Listen to the preview below, and on Friday you can grab the Prophets of Peace (P.O.P) 7″ at the Electric Fetus and at the Secret Stash website, where you can also get select records at 33.3% off until Monday. In celebration of all this, the P.O.P will be playing a set at 2pm on Friday at the Fetus, which should get you moving a bit, although probably not enough to melt off the 10,000 calorie dinner from the night before.
