Stream Orchard Thief’s “Guitar River”

We’re always pretty excited about a new release from local experimental musician Orchard Thief (Sam Molstad). The newest one Guitar River must have slipped our radar as it has been out since last October.  It’s a good one though.  As the name implies Guitar River is filled with mellow textures courtesy of the eponymous instrument accompanied by nominal drumming and rich bass tones.  Each piece is a exercise in minimalism, stripping away everything but the core of each delicately wrought tune.    Check it out below.
