Listen to shimmering pysch-pop from Chinese band Birdstriking and see them TONIGHT in Minneapolis
A bill that features Magic Castles and Flavor Crystals should be enough to get any self-respecting guitar based psych fan in Minneapolis off the couch and to the Kitty Cat Klub tonight (Thur 6/18) for a free show, but if it isn’t, I present you with Birdstriking. The shoegazey band are visiting from China, and their shimmering psych-pop will mesh well with the locals that are filling out the bill. Listen to their 2013 LP below, and if you are into it at all, don’t miss this chance to see them, as I don’t imagine they will be back for a bit.
