Battlerat: “Faking It” / Release Show Friday
It’s been a minute since we last heard from Celeste Heule’s Battlerat. It seems that Heule and her bandmates have been hard at work on their next release, Done Deal, which will be available this Friday (12/15/17). By the sound of the currently available single “Faking It” it was time well spent – the tune really sounds polished and a step above 2015 EP Spoils in terms of maturity. It’s a funky little piece of piano pop anchored, as always, by Heule’s singing.
