Gauntlet Hair “Out, Don’t…”
While it doesn’t blow me away quite as much as “I Was Thinking” (which I reviewed HERE), “Out, Don’t…” does nothing to temper my excitement about this new band. Like the previously mentioned track, “Out, Don’t..” sounds as if it was recorded in a cave and the processed through a rinse cycle of echo and reverb. The result is a distinct but immediate stab of spaced out pop, the kind that grabs you by the collar on your first listen and finds a way to introduce a new wrinkle with each listen. I can’t wait for a full LP from these guys. Grab the new 7″ over at the Mexican Summer website.
