Shabazz Palaces

Shabazz Palaces is a Seattle-based duo composed of former Digable Planets member Ishmael Butler and Tendai Maraie. Known for their avant-garde rap and experimental approach to hip-hop, the group released their debut album Black Up followed by Lese Majesty, both showcasing their sonically maximalist and electronically-driven sound.
