Taking a Guess at the Upcoming Pitchfork Festival Lineup
The Pitchfork Music Festival starting lineup will be announced this Friday, and you can be sure it will be filled to the brim with the current “it” bands, all of whom will all convene on Union Park in Chicago for three hot days in July. Whether you love or hate the site, at least you should be able to agree that every year the festival is pretty awesome. This year we are taking a stab at guessing the lineup before it is announced, and come Friday morning we’ll either be shameful or knowingly smug. Chime in if you have any predictions of your own – do you think they blew all their dough on Pavement and won’t be able to afford other good bands? What bygone bands will they dredge up for Friday’s lineup? How much Goose Island will we drink?

so far i really only care to see BSS, LCD, JSBX, Titus, Pavement, & Cass McCombs, but it’s a decent start
i guessed vampire weekend would be their big one, and i agree with beach house, xx, real estate and caribou. But they might get gonjasufi…who knows.
