Nice Purse “Heart Medley” Video + MP3
I’ve been meaning to write about local band Nice Purse for a while, as I have been enjoying their new record Black Medalquite a bit. The group creates whimsical, smart pop music that wouldn’t sound out of place on Sub Pop (think Ari Buffalo) alongside the earnest but not quite emo artists the label seems to be fond of taking in the post grunge era. They have recently released a video for the albums lead single “Heart Medley,” which does a great job of capturing their forlorn, not quite grown up but getting their love songs that populate their album.
