Ivy – Three new songs

Ivy has recently posted three songs from their upcoming album All Hours, their first record in 6 years since 2005’s In The Clear. If the first singles, “Distant Lights” and “Fascinated,” is any indication, the band has moved entirely away from their Go-Betweens-influenced indie pop of the past and moved into electronic pop territory. Singer Dominique Durand’s vocals are still there but gone are most of the guitar and drums in favor of beats and synths. “Lost In The Sun” hints at the past, but overall, I’m a bit disappointed by these tracks.
