Listen to New Soundtrack for the Short Film “Animal” by Ali Jaafar
Ali Jaafar is well known locally for his multiple bands (including Hollow Boys) and running the Ecstattic Studios that pump out lots of great local music, but apparently he also finds time to do solo albums (who needs sleep, amirite?). His latest project is soundtracking a short film by Michelle Brost called Animal, which you can stream below. It’s partly synth symphony, part noisy chaos, part found-sound ambient and all hyper atmospheric like any good soundtrack should be. Like bull riding, it is a wild ride that doesn’t have a super long lifespan. If you like your audio with a little visual, you can watch the short film HERE.
