Chris Forsyth

Chris Forsyth is a Philadelphia-based guitarist known for his work blending country, psychedelic, and folk influences with experimental and proto-krautrock elements. He co-founded the band BASIC with guitarist Nick Millevoi during the COVID lockdown, which released the debut LP *This is BASIC*, and has released solo albums including *Evolution Here We Come* on No Quarter Records. Forsyth has collaborated with Garcia Peoples and performed with musicians from Tortoise, Sun Ra Arkestra, the Dream Syndicate, and other established acts.
