The Controversial New Skinny Pill: “Secret Tape B (live your trial)” / Album Release Show

Pretty excited that one of my favorite Twin Cities’ bands, The Controversial New Skinny Pill, will have a brand new album coming out in February.  Traffic & Weather will be released at a show at the 7th St. Entry on 2/10 (tix/info). You can stream a couple songs from it on the band’s bandcamp page. I have posted my favorite of the two below, “Secret Tape B (live your trial).”  It’s is a funky little piece of contorted pop and yet another example of how the band continues to find unique and original ways to shine pop music through expectation-bending prisms.
